I’ve always loved Oscar Hunt Tailors. Alejandro gets most of his suits from them and I love going with him and enjoy the experience. So when Oscar Hunt approached Alejandro and suggested the idea of featuring him on their upcoming magazine I instantly jumped on board as the stylist for the shoot.
This photoshoot was very special for many reasons, but one of them was the fact that it was right before Melbourne went into lockdown and it left a bittersweet feeling… We did it at Pastuso Restaurant and after we finished we had a glorious lunch with the whole team, not knowing that it would be the last in many many months…
For the shoot I selected a beautiful tailor-made suit from Oscar Hunt and used a silk scarf that we bought in Jaipur, India a few years ago to add structure. Shoes are Emidio Tucci from Spain.
I asked Alejandro to get a beautiful snapper as a prop to show on camera his love affair with food, especially seafood and I think that got captured very well!
